First Resonator

Finally got around to building resonator guitar. No electronics at the moment since I built it for myself, & I never plug in. 21” scale because I find it easier fingering whole chords. Tabak box painted flat black. Used 5/16” lag screws for the strap buttons, which work really well. Handmade biscuit bridge with a jumbo fret. I love it! I can’t wait to build to build with the new thinner cone!! Going to use that one to make a Chicago tenor with a longer scale length.

Question about Biscuit and Lightening cone

I just ordered 2 biscuits, one for my lightening resonator cone. Do I attach the biscuit to the cone with a screw? (Converting cheap baritone uke to resonator uke.)

Charles ,

Thank you. I wanted to make sure I do this project close to perfection.
